Yes. LogBridge runs entirely in your web browser. Your logbook data is never uploaded to any server, stored in any database, or transmitted anywhere. Everything stays local in your browser's storage between sessions.
LogBridge imports from ForeFlight, Garmin Pilot, LogTen Pro, MyFlightbook, SafeLog, iFly GPS, and any generic CSV with standard column headers. The format is auto-detected when you drop your file. Output targets ForeFlight or Garmin Pilot's official import templates.
You can, but Garmin's raw import silently drops important fields: Flight Review, IPC, Checkride, FAA 61.58, instructor comments, and NVG proficiency. Routes over 50 characters are truncated without warning. LogBridge preserves these fields and notifies you about any changes.
The currency calculator uses the exact requirements from FAR 61.57 (day and night passenger currency, instrument currency with grace period) and FAR 61.56 (flight review). It reads directly from your logbook data. Always verify with a CFI for official determinations.
Digital signatures and endorsement images cannot transfer between platforms via CSV. LogBridge includes an Instructor Outreach feature that generates pre-written emails to every instructor in your logbook, making it easy to collect new signatures.
Drop two CSV files from any supported format. LogBridge matches flights by date, route, and aircraft, then shows you three buckets: common flights, entries only in file A, and entries only in file B. You choose what to include and download a single merged logbook — with duplicates automatically removed.
No. LogBridge handles YYYY-MM-DD, MM/DD/YYYY, and DD/MM/YYYY automatically. It also warns you not to open exported CSVs in Excel, which can silently reformat dates and break the import.
Yes. The Paper Logbook tab provides a guided entry form for each flight. You can also photograph paper endorsements and use the built-in OCR to extract instructor name, date, and endorsement text automatically.
Yes. The Form 8710 tab shows your progress against Part 61 minimums for Private, Instrument, Commercial, ATP, and CFI with visual progress bars. The Insurance Summary generates a downloadable one-page report with total time, PIC, recent activity, and aircraft experience — ready to send to your underwriter.
